BBT Cafe - Kerrisdale
5979 West Blvd
Vancouver, BCI grew up in Kerrisdale and used to come to BBT Cafe quite a bit because it was close to my highschool. I haven't been back much since graduating three years ago, so joining my sister and her friends for dinner at BBT Cafe stirred up quite a lot of nostalgic feelings.
Cheese Thick Toast (around $4) - haha nothing special, it is what it says... Toast with melted cheese =] But sometimes simplicity is best
Korean Kimchi Hot Pot (around $10) - it was very bland tasting to be honest. It tasted nothing like kimchi and the only flavour was from the soy sauce they provided. Not to mention there was barely ANYTHING in the pot.. couple pieces of broccoli and cabbage. Disappointment.. don't get it
Milk Tea with Pearls (regular price, around $4ish) - the only redeeming quality of BBT Cafe is their bubble tea actually. I asked for quarter sweet and it was quite good. Nicely done tapioca!

Overall, it wasn't very good this time. Maybe because the Korean hot pot was a new item, but it DEFINITELY needs a lot of tweaking unfortunately. My favourite milk tea with tapioca is still quite good though.
